Here are just a couple cute pics of the kiddos helping me out around the house. We recently painted Parker's room and he assisted taking off all of the face plates and painting. He wielded the screwdriver and unscrewed all of the face plates in his room, Marin's room and both upstairs bathrooms...all by himself. He carried around a little box to collect parts and screws in. He was very responsible and didn't stick the screwdriver in the socket. Without saying it in such a blunt fashion, I basically told him he would die if he did. When we were all done, he screwed them all in by himself too. He is looking forward to the time we paint the basement so he can do it all over again.

Marin likes to help where she can. Because we have a front loading washer/dryer, she can switch laundry all by herself. Granted, it took her 15 minutes, but she was very proud of herself. She shook each piece to get the wrinkles out (like mommy does) and even told me which clothes belonged to each member of the family, "Popper's shirt....daddy's sock...", etc.

What CUTE kids and big helpers!!
Ooo, I totally want one of those front loading washers. How cute that they are such good helpers. You are a good mom to give them such interesting jobs. My kids always want to clean mirrors--but they just like to spray the windex. I hate getting it all over so I don't like them to do it!
I see the genetic tendencies are running strong in Parker. He uses his tongue to help him work more efficiently just like his uncle Brady and me!! Hilarious!!
