Marin has a thing for older men, those of deacon age in particular.
One of Marin's biggest crushes right now is Jonathan Comeau (for those of you who know him). She is always asking what Jonna-nan is doing and she tries to talk to him every week when he passes the sacrament. She shows him all of her boo-boos and tilts her head and looks all puppy-doggish as she says, "See?" She sat next to him the other night at our ward Christmas party (her choice) , she showed him her boo-boos, he kissed one and I think she blushed.
She also has a crush on the 11 year old neighbor boy, Sam, or Sham as she says it. "Our" rows in the overflow area of church are near each other and she always shares her stickers with him during sacrament meeting. Sam's mom says he is flattered. She watches him play basketball through our living room window and always shouts, "Hi Sham", when she goes outside.
And then there is Todd, a friend of ours from our old ward. Right now Todd is working in PA while his family stays here in Rexburg. Everytime we go to visit she always asks where Todd is. The best we can come up with is that Todd is at work. We drive by Todd's house every time we leave the neighborhood and she always reminds us where Todd lives. She will be thrilled to see Todd in a week or so when he moves back home!

Maybe if Amanda would stop hitting on the deacons, her daughter would follow the example.
